Are you patriotic? There are a lot of things to be happy about in this country, but there a lot of things that need to be worked out too.

 

I mean just look at hip-hop. Rap music has made more people of color millionaires than was ever imagined.  But when you listen to the music of folks like Lil’ Boosie, Lil’ Wayne or Young Jeezy (when did it become cool to be "lil") you can still hear the pain that exists in our communities.

In this video above Obama tried to silence his critics who said that he isn't patriotic enough to be president.  I mean, I think he did a good job, but sometimes I wonder if he is giving up some of his swag.  Most people, regardless of their background, feel that there is something inherently wrong with the leadership of this country. He needs to stop trying to defend himself for being critical of the backward policies of the United States.   Not to sound like a patriotic nut, but the reason why the USA exists is because a group of strong minded individuals had enough moxy to challenge their era's traditional leaders.

The reason the USA exists is because the Europeans was using this land to house their prisoners, child molester ect! This land was here long before the first deformed Black baby was born …that group of BLACK/AFRICAN PEOPLE we now know as ‘’WHITE PEOPLE’’. Don’t get it twisted boo! This land where for many dynasties AFRICANS LIVED … we call them INDIANS! Then a group of rich Euros armed the prisoners and the like and decided to go to war to create their own country ….they fought their own land and peeps and they murdered all the Indians!! Then they brought your ancestors and mine (the ones that lived after the most horrendous journey from Africa imaged) here and beat, raped and murdered them into submission to build it ….the USA. And you still support MASSA!! When you have children out of wedlock (commitment) ..When you teach the young that selling drugs is cool instead of getting an education and building our communities …when you continue to disrespect your women and engage in interracial relationships which whip out your genius because she has none! Yes hip hop has made millionaires out of many ignorant ghetto niggars …which is why they took it out of the hands of middle class niggars …these ghetto fabulous uneducated clowns do nothing but ‘’swag’’ and are pimped for Massa … they are destroying our youth therefore I could care less that they can finally pay MASSA the RENT ON TIME and no longer have to eat his powered EGGS!!

Now what that dumb shit you just said!! Obama knows what he is doing …he’s on his game ..Trust me and I have no doubt that YOU have no understanding whatsoever! Swag is for street niggars …OBAMA has a GAME PLAN and its CHESS baby boy ….not CHECKERS!! The game for swaggers!

Agree with you 100%. Nobody respects a conformist to me. You gotta be man enough to rally the people and challenge the powers that be....be in it a diplomatic way unless you dealing with a grassroots movement. That's been the main reason it was tough me to vote here lately. Just seemed like the same ol' same ol' and no one truly inspirational. Barak is that, so far. Not that he's the perfect candidate but he's the best we got at this point and I think that's what most people miss. Dude may have flaws...but at this point do really see a better candidate from our vantage point? What you've written above is one of the most moronic things I've ever read. (I'm not saying that you're a moron, just that what you've written is moronic)

The USA exists because Europeans were looking for ways to make money. They intended to send raw goods from the US, such as lumber and gold, and ship them over to Europe to be processed. While Australia and Georgia were at times used as prison colonies, this was not the primary reason for their existence. The other US colonies outside of Georgia didn't even get prisoners.

Native Americans come from a different racial group as Africans, you can't deny DNA... sorry to burst your bubble, but your so-called "African Kingdoms" were not African at all.

Also, the Africans themselves deserve some blame for the slave trade-- it was in place before Europeans got involved, they just exploited the situation. Please remember that many white Americans fought for the freedom of black people. The country has learned from its mistakes, and now you have affirmative action. Honestly, just think about it: Would a racist country really support such a large amount of black people on welfare? If the country truly were racist, black people would not be eligible for government aid-- yet minorities are the most often helped by the inheritors of wealth.

I agree that the system is not perfect, but we're making progress. Black people need to abandon this "uneducated" lifestyle. All of America will respect you if you're articulate like Obama is..
